Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb 450g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • ½ cup white wine optional
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup fresh basil chopped
  • 12 oz spaghetti or linguine cooked
  • Grated Parmesan cheese optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • ❶ Prepare the Sauce
    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
    ❷ Add the Tomatoes & Wine
    Pour in the crushed tomatoes and white wine. Stir in oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    ❸ Cook the Shrimp
    Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes until pink and opaque.
    ❹ Finish with Fresh Basil
    Stir in fresh basil and remove from heat.
    ❺ Serve
    Serve the shrimp mixture over cooked pasta and top with Parmesan cheese if desired.
