Ingredients
  

  • 2-4 bone-in pork chops ¾ inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Crushed black pepper and sea salt to taste
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

  • ❶ Prepare the Garlic Butter
    In a small bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, unsalted butter, and chopped fresh thyme until well combined.
    Set aside.
    ❷ Cook the Pork Chops
    Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until it sizzles.
    Season the pork chops generously with crushed black pepper and sea salt on both sides.
    Place the seasoned pork chops into the hot skillet.
    Cook for approximately 5 minutes on each side, or until the chops are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
    Once cooked, remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for 5-7 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
