Ingredients
  

  • 1 pie crust
  • cups shredded sweetened coconut
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • ❶ Preheat Oven
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    ❷ Prepare Pie Crust
    Roll out your pie crust on a lightly floured surface.
    Transfer it to a 9-inch pie plate, trimming and crimping the edges as desired.
    ❸ Add Coconut
    Evenly spread the shredded sweetened coconut over the unbaked pie crust.
    ❹ Mix Custard Filling
    In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, granulated sugar, salt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
    ❺ Assemble and Bake
    Pour the custard mixture over the coconut in the pie crust.
    Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
    ❻ Cool and Serve
    Allow the pie to cool completely to room temperature.
    Optionally, garnish with additional shredded coconut before slicing and serving.
