Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 small green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 small red bell pepper sliced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 4 hoagie rolls

Instructions

  • ❶ Heat the Oil
    In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil.
    ❷ Cook the Vegetables
    Add sliced onions and bell peppers.
    Sauté for 4-5 minutes until soft.
    Remove and set aside.
    ❸ Cook the Chicken
    In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced chicken.
    Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
    Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked.
    ❹ Combine
    Add the cooked onions and peppers back to the pan with the chicken.
    Stir everything together.
    ❺ Melt the Cheese
    Place slices of provolone cheese over the chicken mixture.
    Cover the skillet for 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts.
    ❻ Assemble the Sandwich
    Toast the hoagie rolls if desired, then fill each roll with the cheesy chicken mixture.
