Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs boneless beef short ribs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper optional for heat
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  • ❶ Preheat Oven
    Set to 300°F (150°C).
    ❷ Prepare the Ribs
    Pat dry the boneless beef ribs with paper towels.
    ❸ Season
    Rub the ribs with olive oil and coat evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne (if using).
    ❹ Sear the Ribs (Optional)
    Heat a pan over medium-high heat and sear the ribs for 2 minutes on each side until browned.
    ❺ Slow Cook
    Place the ribs in a baking dish, pour beef broth over them, and cover with foil. Bake for 2.5 hours until tender.
    ❻ Apply BBQ Sauce
    Remove the foil, brush the ribs with barbecue sauce, and broil for 5-7 minutes until caramelized.
    ❼ Rest & Serve
    Let the ribs rest for 5 minutes before serving.
